  • Perform advanced non-invasive imaging procedures for Cardiac Laboratories.
  • Perform proper billing of procedures and prioritize patient scheduling.
  • Coordinate and prioritize patient scheduling to ensure procedure completion in a timely fashion.
  • Obtain information for specific procedures to be performed, answer pertinent questions to patients concerning procedures, and be courteous to patients and their families 100% of the time.
  • Perform all non-invasive imaging procedures within established guidelines and timeframes.
  • Notify appropriate medical staff if there are significant abnormal findings.
  • Document procedures performed within patient charts to inform the physician that the test has been completed.
  • Calculate and measure Cardiovascular structures from procedure data to aid the physician in interpreting results and achieving a diagnosis.
  • Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of the equipment, procedure rooms, and work areas of the Cardiac Laboratories.
  • Complete accurate documentation through EPIC to ensure proper billing.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of patient and unit information.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement activities.
