The minimum qualifications include a Master’s Degree in a related field (Social Work, Counseling, Psychology), licensure as an LCSW, LICSW, LPC, or Licensed Psychologist, a West Virginia state criminal background check, and AVADE training within 90 days of hire.
Prior experience in behavioral health is preferred but not required.
The primary responsibilities include providing individual and group therapy, conducting psychosocial assessments, developing treatment plans, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and connecting patients and families with community resources.
You will be working with children and adolescents, providing age-specific psychotherapy services.
You will utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to the individual needs of each patient. These may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Play Therapy.
