  • Ensures all medical equipment is in proper working condition, performing routine maintenance and reporting any malfunctions promptly.

  • Assists with minor surgical procedures, such as suture removal and staple removal, under the supervision of the physician or advanced practice professional.
  • Sterilizes medical instruments and equipment, following established procedures to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
  • Answers phone calls and responds to patient inquiries, providing accurate and timely information and resolving issues effectively.
  • Manages inventory of medical supplies and equipment, ordering and stocking items as needed to ensure adequate availability.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality and adheres to all HIPAA regulations, protecting sensitive patient information.
  • Participates in team meetings and continuing education activities to stay up-to-date on the latest medical advancements and best practices.
  • Documents all patient interactions and procedures accurately and completely in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Collects and processes laboratory specimens, such as blood and urine, following established protocols and safety guidelines
