  • Pass sterile instruments to the surgical team during a surgical procedure.
  • Operate specialty equipment after receiving specific training.
  • Assist with transportation and positioning of the patients.
  • Prepare supplies and equipment for surgical procedure following preference cards. Perform equipment checks as assigned.
  • Assist with sterilization and maintenance of sterile and non-sterile supplies and equipment.
  • Monitor inventory; order; and restock supplies, instruments, and equipment.
