In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to patients in an outpatient medical office setting. A Day in the Life of a Clinic LPN
Your day will begin with a review of the patient schedule and preparation of the examination rooms. You will greet patients, take their vital signs, and obtain a brief medical history. You will then escort patients to the examination room and assist the physician or registered nurse with any necessary procedures. After the examination, you will administer medications as prescribed, provide patient education, and document all care provided in the patient's electronic health record.
