The Clinical Associate plays a vital role in providing direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse at WVU Medicine's Ruby Memorial Hospital. This full-time, night shift position on the 10 East Medicine Stepdown/Floor unit offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality, cost-effective care in a family-centered environment. The Clinical Associate assists in various tasks, including basic patient care, activities of daily living, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
As a Clinical Associate on the night shift, your day will involve a variety of responsibilities focused on patient comfort, safety, and well-being. You will assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, and ensure their comfort by making beds and providing basic physical care. You will also monitor vital signs, transport patients to tests and procedures, and assist with respiratory support.
