As a CNS, you will play a vital role in promoting optimum care for patients and families within our 2N Observation and 4N Orthopedic units. This position requires a highly skilled and knowledgeable nurse who can act as a consultant, educator, and leader in their area of expertise.
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, your day will be dynamic and multifaceted. You will collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement evidence-based practices. You will provide direct patient care, assess patient needs, and develop individualized care plans. You will also serve as a resource for nurses, providing education, mentorship, and support. Additionally, you will participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines. A typical day may include:
