A current Registered Nurse license and at least one of the following certifications: CCS, CCDS, CDIP, HCQM, ACM, or CCM. Additionally, two years of experience in inpatient acute care coding, CDI, Denials, Utilization Review, or Appeals, and three years of RN experience are required.
A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred. Candidates with an Associate of Science in Nursing Degree (ASN) or Diploma are encouraged to apply, provided they are currently enrolled in a BSN program and complete it within three years of hire.
