The minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, current National Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), and certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
While not required, one (1) year of healthcare experience is preferred.
This is a full-time position with scheduled weekly hours of 40.
The work environment involves working closely with others, potentially working protracted or irregular hours, and working around biohazards and infectious diseases. You may also be required to work with hands in water and travel between facilities.
The role requires medium work, exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and up to 10 pounds of force constantly. Additionally, the ability to bend, stoop, reach, and be capable of normal rotation, standing, and walking for an 8-12 hour shift is required.
