- Assists with and performs various examinations, tests, and procedures under the direction and supervision of the practice physician, advanced practice professional, or registered nursing staff.
- Schedules appointments for patients and sets up referral contacts as needed, coordinating with other healthcare providers and departments.
- Assists the provider during patient examinations and procedures, providing support and ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of the appointment.
- Educates patients on follow-up expectations, providing clear and concise instructions on medication management, lifestyle modifications, and future appointments.
- Maintains quality control testing logs as required, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
- Ensures that all medical equipment is in proper working condition, performing routine maintenance and reporting any malfunctions or issues promptly.
