As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer-Vascular Tech, you will be responsible for performing a variety of vascular ultrasound exams, including but not limited to carotid, peripheral arterial, and venous studies. You will utilize your knowledge of vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology to acquire high-quality images and Doppler waveforms. Additionally, you will be responsible for documenting your findings accurately and communicating them effectively to the interpreting physician.

The minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited Medical Imaging Program and registration as a Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) within 2 years of hire. BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire.
Preferred qualifications include registration as a Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS).
The core duties and responsibilities include performing advanced non-invasive vascular imaging procedures, prioritizing patient scheduling, proper billing of procedures, communicating with patients and families, documenting procedures, and maintaining equipment and work areas.
The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $65,000 and $95,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
