Are you a Registered Nurse (RN) passionate about providing critical care in a fast-paced environment? WVU Medicine's St. Joseph's Hospital is seeking dedicated and skilled Emergency Department (ED) RNs to join our PRN (as needed) team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care of patients in our busy emergency department. You'll be responsible for delivering competent clinical knowledge and skills while using independent nursing judgment to achieve quality patient care outcomes.
As an ED RN at St. Joseph's Hospital, you'll be an integral member of a multidisciplinary team, working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to patients of all ages and backgrounds. You'll utilize your expertise in emergency nursing to respond to medical emergencies, administer medications, perform wound care, and educate patients and their families. You will also modify a patient's plan of care, delegate according to your scope of practice and provide the appropriate education to the patient and their family.
