The minimum qualification is a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
While not required, two years of experience as a call dispatcher is preferred.
A current West Virginia Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Basic Certification is preferred but not required.
You will be primarily using a Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system to manage and track transport requests.
You will be communicating with ground ambulances, helicopters, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities.
This is a full-time position, and the working hours may vary depending on the needs of the department. Expect rotating shifts, including days, evenings, and nights.
