The minimum qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) AND enrollment in a graduate degree program with a major in nursing (within 12 months of hire), OR a BSN and ten (10) years clinical experience. You must also have an active, unencumbered license as a registered nurse in WV and BLS certification from the American Heart Association (prior to students on campus). Additionally, a minimum of one (1) year of clinical nursing experience in the relevant area of instruction is required.
Previous experience teaching in a registered nurse program is preferred but not required.
