The minimum qualifications include current unencumbered licensure with the WV Board of Practical Nursing or appropriate state board, or current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC), and current CPR certification.
Experience as an LPN is preferred but not always required. We encourage new graduates to apply as well.
The position requires heavy/hard work, including lifting, moving, stooping, reaching, positioning of patients, standing, walking, and carrying materials and equipment weighing 40+ lbs.
The work environment is a typical healthcare setting with exposure to patients, medical equipment, and potential hazards. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
The core duties include preparing examining rooms, assisting with medical procedures, administering medications, documenting patient information, and providing patient education and support.
