The minimum qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and enrollment in a graduate degree program with a major in nursing (within 12 months of hire) OR a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and ten (10) years of clinical experience. You must also have an active, unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in West Virginia and a BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
Prior teaching experience in a registered nurse program is preferred but not required.
Key responsibilities include designing and delivering course content, facilitating student learning, mentoring students, and participating in curriculum development.
