The minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED equivalent and CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
Prior experience is not required, but successful completion of a patient care aide-training program or equivalent is preferred.
The physical requirements include the ability to exert 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Visual acuity must be within normal ranges, and you must be able to position, lift, move patients of all weights with varying amounts of assistance regularly.
The working environment involves exposure to body fluids, human tissues, contagious diseases, sharps, explosive gases, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation, high stress, constant interruptions, cleaning agents, and disinfectants.
The scheduled weekly hours are 40.
This position is non-exempt.
