The minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, or a related field AND one (1) year of business OR healthcare-related experience; OR a High School Diploma or Equivalent AND Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB or EXPT) upon hire AND two (2) years of healthcare-related experience; OR an Associate’s Degree AND Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB or EXPT) upon hire AND one (1) year of healthcare-related experience.
The preferred qualifications include a PTCB Advanced Pharmacy Technician Certificate and three (3) years of experience working in a specialty pharmacy.
The key responsibilities include conducting payer discussions, performing financial audits, monitoring payer performance compliance, conducting prepayment claims audits, managing CMS audits, providing customer support, and preparing reports.
Important skills include knowledge of revenue cycle management, payer relations, claims adjudication, contractual claims processing, medical terminology, and the 340B Drug Discount Program.
The estimated salary range for this position is $45,000 to $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
