A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Phlebotomy Certification (CPT) and six months of phlebotomy experience are preferred.
The primary responsibilities include performing venipunctures, collecting blood and other specimens, labeling specimens, operating laboratory equipment, and performing clerical duties.
Essential skills include venipuncture proficiency, specimen collection expertise, communication skills, and the ability to operate laboratory equipment.
The work environment is fast-paced and patient-focused. You may be required to travel between facilities and work various shifts based on departmental needs.
