WVU Medicine is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Phlebotomist-Receptionist to join our team in Weirton, West Virginia. In this dual role, you will be responsible for collecting blood specimens from patients, processing specimens for testing, and providing excellent customer service at the front desk. This position requires a strong understanding of phlebotomy techniques, medical terminology, and laboratory procedures, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
As a Phlebotomist, you will perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection on patients of all ages. You will also be responsible for accurately labeling and processing specimens, ensuring that they are properly prepared for testing. As a Receptionist, you will greet patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, and perform other clerical duties as needed.
