Role Overview

  • Ensure proper tube usage and labeling with accurate information.
  • Prepare specimens, including accessioning, centrifuging, and aliquoting.
  • Submit specimens to Medical Technologists and Medical Laboratory Technicians for testing.
  • Confirm/process patient information regarding laboratory testing from outside agencies/satellite facilities.
  • Maintain the laboratory work area in a clean and orderly condition.
