A Day in the Life of an Oncology/MedSurg RN

You will then conduct thorough assessments of patients, including vital signs monitoring, pain assessment, and evaluation of their overall physical and emotional well-being. Based on your assessments, you will develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Throughout your shift, you will administer medications and treatments, monitor patient responses, and document all care provided. You will also educate patients and their families on disease management, medication administration, and post-discharge care.
