As an LPN on the 4N unit, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care under the direction of registered nurses and physicians. Your responsibilities will include:
Your day as an LPN at UHC will be fast-paced and rewarding. You'll start by receiving a report from the previous shift, reviewing patient charts, and prioritizing your tasks. You'll then begin providing direct patient care, which may include administering medications, taking vital signs, assisting with hygiene, and providing emotional support. Throughout the day, you'll collaborate with registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care. You'll also document your observations and interventions in the EHR, ensuring accurate and timely communication.
