  • Assist patients with the completion of medical documentation, providing guidance and ensuring accuracy.
  • Perform office administrative tasks, including answering phones, taking messages, and managing correspondence.
  • Assist with office-related tasks such as copying, printing, data entry, and assisting with depositing cash and other closing duties.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of medical supplies.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families.
  • Triage patient phone calls and messages, directing them to the appropriate healthcare provider.
  • Assist with prior authorizations and insurance verification processes.
  • Prepare and administer medications as directed by the physician or registered nursing staff (if certified).
  • Perform phlebotomy (blood draws) as needed (if certified).
  • Perform EKG's
  • Assist with wound care and dressing changes as directed.
  • Accurately document all patient interactions and procedures in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
