The minimum qualifications include an Associate of Science (AAS) degree in Medical (Clinical) Laboratory Technology or Science OR Associate’s degree in a chemical or biological science, and current licensure as a Medical Laboratory Technician or Trainee (WV only).
Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) by ASCP or AMT is preferred but not required.
