The minimum qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Nursing from a CCNE accredited program, national certification as an APRN, licensure as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in West Virginia, BLS, ATLS, and ACLS certifications, and FNP, ACGNP, or ACNP certification (or willingness to obtain within the first credentialing cycle).
Eligible new graduates will be considered. However, acute care or critical care experience is preferred.
The core responsibilities include managing comprehensive care for trauma patients, ordering diagnostic tests, developing care plans, performing therapeutic procedures, coordinating with specialty teams, ensuring adherence to protocols, coordinating discharge planning, participating in education, and responding to rapid response alerts.
