CNA certification is preferred but not required. However, having a Pennsylvania Department of Health Nursing Assistant Certification will give you preference during selection.
One year of recent experience in a clinical setting providing direct patient care, or completion/current enrollment in a health-related program with Nursing Care Assistant skills (vitals, intake, feeding, bathing) is preferred.
The job requires frequent walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and twisting. The ability to lift and/or carry up to/over 50 pounds is also necessary.
