In this role, you will assist in various aspects of drug distribution that do not require the professional judgment of a pharmacist. You will work under the supervision of a pharmacist, following standard written procedures and guidelines to ensure the safe and accurate delivery of medications to our patients.
As an Operations Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for preparing unit-dose medications, delivering medications to patient-care areas, and ordering and delivering drug supplies. You will also interpret physician orders/prescriptions and prepare medications for dispensing, including specialized dosage forms for pediatric and geriatric patients.
