The minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, National Registry of EMTs Paramedic certification, West Virginia Office of EMS Paramedic Certification, valid driver's license, and successful completion of required NIMS courses.
Preferred qualifications include an associate, bachelor, or graduate level degree, PALS, GEMS, other relevant prehospital certifications, and two years of experience as a field provider at the AEMT or paramedic level.
