WVU Medicine
Candidates must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent, a state medical license and DEA registration (required by start date), completion of an Internal Medicine residency program, and board certification/eligibility in Internal Medicine. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
Responsibilities include providing comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, developing and implementing patient care plans, ordering and interpreting tests, prescribing medications, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and teaching/mentoring medical students, residents and fellows.
The salary range is $220,000 to $350,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
