WVU Medicine is seeking a skilled and dedicated Rad Tech/CV Tech to join our team at Berkeley Medical Center (BMC). In this role, you will perform as a technologist and assist physicians with patients undergoing a variety of invasive cardiac procedures, including diagnostic heart catheterization, interventional cardiac procedures, electrophysiological studies, device implantations, and peripheral vascular procedures. You will be an integral part of a team that provides exceptional care to patients in a state-of-the-art facility.
As a Rad Tech/CV Tech in the Cath Lab/Hybrid OR, your day will be dynamic and challenging. You'll start by preparing the sterile environment for procedures, ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly and readily available. Throughout the day, you'll assist physicians by operating radiologic equipment to capture high-quality images, monitoring patient vital signs, and administering medications as directed. Your ability to maintain a sterile field, respond quickly to changes, and document all aspects of patient care will be essential to a successful day. You will also collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

The minimum qualifications include graduation from a Medical Imaging Program, a current or temporary Radiography license as required by the state board, ARRT certification, and BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
While not mandatory, one (1) year of experience as a CV interventional radiologic technologist is preferred.
