Role Overview

WVU Medicine is seeking a skilled and dedicated Rad Tech/CV Tech to join our team at Berkeley Medical Center (BMC). In this role, you will perform as a technologist and assist physicians with patients undergoing a variety of invasive cardiac procedures, including diagnostic heart catheterization, interventional cardiac procedures, electrophysiological studies, device implantations, and peripheral vascular procedures. A Day in the Life

As a Rad Tech/CV Tech in the Cath Lab/Hybrid OR, your day will be dynamic and challenging. You'll start by preparing the sterile environment for procedures, ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly and readily available.   • Administer medications and contrast agents under the direction of a physician.
  • Document all aspects of patient care, including procedures performed, medications administered, and patient response.
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and regulations.
