The minimum qualifications include current licensure as a Radiation Therapist through the West Virginia Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Technology Board, Board Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy, and certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire date.
Core responsibilities include administering external radiation therapy, ensuring accurate patient positioning, performing simulations, educating patients, and collaborating with the healthcare team.
The typical work schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional on-call responsibilities.
