  • Minimizes radiation exposure to self, patients, and other staff by the use of shielding, collimation, application of the inverse square law, and minimizing repeat exposures.
  • Maintains an expertise in anatomy, physiology, and pathology relative to imaging in order to optimize the procedure and ensure patient care / safety.
