The minimum qualifications include graduation from a Medical Imaging Program, current or temporary Radiography License as required by the West Virginia Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Technology Board, Registered Radiography Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) prior to expiration of WV temporary license, and Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
The core duties and responsibilities include performing imaging procedures, ensuring image quality, minimizing radiation exposure, maintaining expertise in anatomy and physiology, and providing patient care.
