The minimum qualifications include a current Registered Nurse license issued by the state of West Virginia or a multi-state license through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire, and less than 12 months of experience as a registered nurse.
The preferred qualification is a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree (BSN).
The core duties and responsibilities include demonstrating safety and continuity of care, creating and implementing care plans, identifying and addressing patient safety concerns, providing patient education, performing patient assessments, and utilizing evidence-based practice.
