WVU Medicine is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Infusion Center team at United Hospital Center (UHC) in Bridgeport, West Virginia. In this role, you will provide direct patient care to individuals undergoing infusion therapy, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other specialized treatments. You will be responsible for assessing patients, administering medications, monitoring for adverse reactions, and educating patients and their families about their treatment plans.
As an Infusion Center RN, you will work closely with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the highest quality care in a safe and comfortable environment. You will play a vital role in supporting patients throughout their treatment journey, providing both clinical expertise and compassionate support.

To be considered for this position, you must have a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in West Virginia or a current multi-state Registered Nurse license through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC). You must also have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire and two (2) years of registered nursing experience. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
The working hours for this position may vary depending on the needs of the Infusion Center. You may be required to work day, evening, or weekend shifts.
You will receive comprehensive training on infusion therapy procedures, medication administration, and patient education. You will also receive ongoing support and mentorship from experienced nurses and healthcare professionals.
