Role Overview

Are you a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) looking to start your career in a supportive environment? WVU Medicine is seeking a motivated RN to join our 3P Med/Surg Pulmonary team at the Thomas Medical Office Pavilion in Morgantown, West Virginia. As an RN in this role, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. A Day in the Life

Your day as an RN on the 3P Med/Surg Pulmonary unit will be dynamic and rewarding. Here's a glimpse of what you can expect:

  • 7:00 AM: Receive patient reports from the outgoing shift, review patient charts, and prioritize your tasks for the day.
  • 7:30 AM: Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs, pain levels, and respiratory status.

  • 9:00 AM: Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
