Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state of West Virginia or current multi-state Registered Nurse license through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC). (experience)
• Obtain certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire date. (experience)
• Less than 12 months of experience as a registered nurse. (experience)
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills at the novice level to provide care relevant to the patient population. (experience)
• Understanding of growth and development principles across the lifespan. (experience)
• Ability to assess and interpret patient data to identify age-specific needs. (experience)
• Knowledge of the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and evaluation. (experience)
• Understanding of patient safety concerns and resource utilization. (experience)
• Ability to provide patient education based on individual learning needs. (experience)
• Commitment to lifelong learning through self-reflection and inquiry. (experience)

Responsibilities
