As an RN-Telemetry at Berkeley Medical Center, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients with cardiac conditions. Your primary duties will include:
A typical night shift for an RN-Telemetry involves a variety of tasks and responsibilities. You will begin your shift by receiving a report from the outgoing nurse, reviewing patient charts, and assessing their current condition. Throughout the night, you will continuously monitor patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs, administer medications, and provide treatments as needed. You will also collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care. In addition to direct patient care, you will also be responsible for documenting your observations and interventions in the electronic health record.
