The minimum qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent AND 3 years of experience in the security field OR Associate’s degree in criminal justice, criminology, forensics, law or related field of study AND 1 year experience OR Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, criminology, forensics, law or related field of study AND 6 months experience in the security field. Also, must be 21 years of age or older.
Must attain TASER user certification within one year, obtain certification in HeartSaver First Aid within 60 days of hire date, and meet all ACT 235 training certification requirements within 60 days of hire.
Yes, a valid Driver’s License is required and must be maintained during the employment period.
Successfully pass WV DHHR Protected Services Record Check and WV CARES fingerprint-based criminal background check.
