  • Perform the duties of a Certified Surgical Technician II
  • Assist in patient positioning to ensure optimal surgical access and patient safety.
  • Placement of pneumatic tourniquet, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Urinary catheter placement, adhering to sterile techniques and patient comfort considerations.
  • Assist with holding or manipulation of surgical instruments intraoperatively as directed by the surgeon, ensuring precise and controlled movements.
  • Prepping of the surgical site including draping patient with surgeon’s guidelines, maintaining a sterile field and preventing contamination.
  • Maintains hemostasis by any manner to include but not limited to clamping, cauterizing or ligating as directed by surgeon, effectively controlling bleeding during procedures.
  • Provide retraction and manipulation of tissue and organs with regard to tissue type and appropriate technique as directed by the surgeon, minimizing trauma and optimizing surgical visualization.
