As a Trauma Surgeon at Wheeling Hospital, your day will be filled with a variety of challenging and rewarding experiences. You will start your day by reviewing patient cases and preparing for scheduled surgeries. During surgeries, you will utilize your expertise to perform complex procedures, often under pressure. You will also spend time in the ICU, managing trauma patients and working with a team of nurses and other specialists to provide comprehensive care.
In addition to patient care, you will participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, where you will collaborate with colleagues to develop treatment plans and discuss patient progress.
