The minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited Medical Imaging Program, registration as a Vascular Sonographer (RVT) or Vascular Specialist (RVS) within 2 years of hire, and certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
The preferred qualification is registration as a Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVT) through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) OR Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
You will be performing a range of non-invasive vascular ultrasound procedures, including venous and arterial duplex ultrasound, transcranial Doppler, and abdominal vascular ultrasound.
The work schedule may vary depending on the needs of the department. Details regarding specific work hours and days will be discussed during the interview process.
