Key Responsibilities

In this role, your primary accountabilities include a range of critical tasks to maintain operational excellence:

• Jockey trailers under the direction of supervisors or foremen, moving them efficiently from the lot to dock doors and back.
• Load trucks as needed, including raw material loads directed by the team.
• Prepare for the day by completing Vehicle Condition Reports (VCR) for the jockey truck and forklift, if applicable, and organizing the work area.
• Review Bills of Lading (BOL) for outbound loads, complete final certifications, and handle out-of-stock items with foremen.
• Wrap partial pallets, process paperwork in the National Inventory System (NIS), and stage pallets or loads into trucks.
• Install and remove trailer stands as necessary, ensuring safety compliance.
• Maintain proper housekeeping standards, completing partial pallets and putting away mixed pallets to keep the area clean and organized.
